Fort Morgan, CO. 02/25/2022. The Morgan Community College (MCC) Foundation’s 23rd Annual Gala, originally scheduled for Friday, February 25, 2022, will be held Friday, April 22, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan County REA (732 Barlow Road, Fort Morgan). This year’s event, based on a Wizard of Oz theme, is titled “There’s No Place Like Home.”
The evening will include silent and live auctions, a reverse raffle, a cash bar, and dinner. Black tie attire is optional.
Tickets for the Gala may be purchased online at morgancc.edu/gala, from a MCC Foundation Board Member, or at the MCC Foundation office located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan. Entry-only tickets are $50 and raffle tickets are $150. The purchase of a raffle ticket includes entry to the Gala event and a chance to win the grand prize choice of a $5,000 Dream Vacation or $5,000 cash. Other raffle prizes include Beats Studio Buds, Colorado Rockies tickets, a one-year membership to the Body Firm, or a two-piece Traveler’s Choice Pagosa Luggage set. The raffle is limited to 200 tickets.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid for VIP servers, who are volunteer community members that provide dedicated food and beverage service to the winning bidders’ tables.
The evening will include Alumni of the Year recognition, honoring one alumnus from each MCC Center for their contributions to MCC as well as their career successes. The Foundation will also present the annual Distinguished Donor Award, honoring significant philanthropic giving to the college.
“We are excited to offer the Gala in all five MCC Center regions across northeast Colorado,” stated Roberta Bigalk, MCC Director of Development. “The impact we can make on the lives of individuals and families living in these communities is significant. We appreciate the generosity and collaboration from Morgan County communities as we work to make a difference.”
All proceeds from the Gala will benefit Morgan Community College student scholarships and programs. The MCC Foundation supports student achievement through scholarships, programs, new and innovative technology, and facilities.
