Morgan Community College (MCC) and the Morgan Community College Foundation extend an invitation to help create educational opportunities by participating in Colorado Gives Day on December 5, 2023. This year, the MCC Foundation has set an ambitious goal of raising $5000 to support student scholarships. Donations can be made to the MCC Foundation at ColoradoGivesDay.org.
Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide initiative, fostering philanthropic contributions to nonprofit organizations. In 2022, this collective effort saw over 100,000 donors generously contribute $53 million to support various nonprofits in Colorado.
The MCC Foundation is committed to providing financial resources for students by providing scholarships, thereby creating access for students to educational opportunities and ultimately promoting the growth and development of northeastern Colorado. Donating to the MCC Foundation on Colorado Gives Day directly impacts students and contributes to community outreach efforts.
“Colorado Gives Day is a unique opportunity to bring about positive change by connecting causes with donors and increasing philanthropy across the state,” stated Susan Clough, Director of Development and MCC Foundation. “Our primary focus is to contribute towards scholarships for MCC students. As the costs of higher education continue to rise, our students rely on financial support to realize their educational goals. A portion of all donations made to this campaign will be matched through the Colorado Gives Foundation. We encourage everyone to consider contributing on December 5th.”
