Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces a dinner, reception, and 101st Army Rock Band concert in honor of veterans on November 7, 2019 at the Country Steak Out restaurant.
CACE is proud to co-sponsor this event with Country Steak Out, located at 19592 East 8th Avenue in Fort Morgan. Dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reception with dessert at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is free to veterans, courtesy of Country Steak Out. The 101st Army Rock Band will perform from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The reception and concert are free and open to the public.
The 101st Army Rock is a component of the Colorado Army National Guard, acting as musical ambassadors for the state of Colorado and the United States Army. The band plays a high-energy mix of rock and roll from the 70’s through the present. The group specializes in horn-driven funk and dance music, performing at formal events, festivals, and concert venues for service members and the public. The 101st Army Rock Band has been featured at the Army-Wide Bandleader’s Conference, the Colorado Military Ball, the Denver People’s Fair and the Denver Independence Eve Celebration.
