The opening reception for the exhibit will be January 16, 2020 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at 300 Main Street in Fort Morgan. The reception is in conjunction with the “Third Thursday Art Walk,” a regular event that provides the community with the opportunity to speak with artists at multiple business locations throughout downtown Fort Morgan. Pezeshki’s exhibit will remain on display through February 19, 2020, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The CACE Gallery continues to be open on Thursday evenings until 6:00 p.m.
Pezeshki uses photography with added imagery to create simplistic images, removing representational content and creating the illusion of spatial depth. She draws inspiration from the outdoors and local wildlife in her home state of Wyoming.
“Kimberly lends a new perspective to the viewer through the eye of her camera,” stated CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “This is a different exhibit than what CACE typically hosts, as her artwork is primarily black and white and focuses on wildlife.”
