Fort Morgan, CO 7/28/2020. Morgan Community College’s Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) Gallery of Fine Art is still seeking artwork submissions for a juried group exhibition in celebration of MCC’s 50th Anniversary. The deadline to submit images of artwork is August 1, 2020 at 5 PM. Artists selected to participate in the exhibit will be contacted by August 4, 2020.
Artists interested in displaying 2-D or 3-D artwork in the 50th Anniversary Exhibit can submit up to five images for consideration, no larger than 2MB each at Morgancc.edu/CACE. There is no fee for participating, and the artwork can be for display-only or for sale.
MCC has been a strong influence in northeastern Colorado, providing access to education and influencing community enrichment over the past five decades. This juried group exhibition will showcase artwork that represents MCC’s slogan: Imagine, Believe, and Achieve.
Artwork will be on display for the public August 13 – August 27, 2020 at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art located at 300 Main Street in Fort Morgan. The Artists’ Reception will be held in conjunction with the Third Thursday Art Walk on August 20 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the upper level of 300 Main Street.
Visitors to the CACE Art Exhibit and Artists’ Reception are expected to wear masks and practice safe social distancing.
