Fort Morgan, CO 4/08/2021. Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) will host its second annual Month of the Young Child Art Exhibit at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art. April, known as “Month of the Young Child” among early childhood educators, focuses on promoting quality learning and access to education for all young children. The exhibit will showcase the unique and inspiring artwork from young children in the community who are involved in Early Childhood Education programs.
A reception for the exhibit launch will be held Thursday, April 15 from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at 300 Main Street in Fort Morgan. The exhibit will remain on display through April 29, 2021. Admission to the reception and the exhibit is free and open to the public. Attendees of the exhibit are asked to wear proper face mask coverings and observe social distancing.
“Children’s art comes from within. It is not a representation of the outer world, but rather a reflection of inner thought processes and emotions,” stated CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “Come enjoy the expression of true creativity of the area’s children.”
