Fort Morgan, CO. 8/12/2022. Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) will present a bluegrass concert featuring the Meadow Mountain Band Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. The concert will be held in the band shell at Glenn Miller Park (City Park) in Fort Morgan, located at 414 Main Street. Participants are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.
The Meadow Mountain Band is a popular bluegrass band known throughout Colorado for their traditional Stringband music. Meadow Mountain’s innovative approach combines a wide range of musical influences. The Band members apply traditional bluegrass music techniques with their own musical styles, creating a rare connection. Their astounding musicianship, vocal harmonies, songwriting, and soulful tones are what make Meadow Mountain Bluegrass Band unique.
“Meadow Mountain is crafting strong, original music,” stated Dr. Steven Norton, CACE Performing Arts Committee Chair. “MCC CACE is excited to bring them to Fort Morgan to share their talent and provide this one-of-a-kind bluegrass experience for our community. We also wanted to build on the momentum of the City’s Thursday Night Live series by offering one more Thursday concert this summer.”
