Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) invites the community to attend the annual Boulder International Film Festival on September 29, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in Bloedorn Lecture Hall on MCC’s Fort Morgan campus, 920 Barlow Road, and will feature six short films and the opportunity to discuss film styles with MCC’s own film critic, Ewan Magie.
Included among the Festival’s screenings is the short film Close Ties to Home Country, directed by Akanksha Cruczynski. This short film depicts Akanksha, a millennial immigrant who waits for her sister’s visit from India, while dog sitting India and Harry, fancy Frenchie’s of Instagram. Additional films that will be featured include Bad Seeds, On My Mind, Tala’vision, Close Ties to Home Country, and Yellowstone88.
This local presentation of Boulder International Film Festival movies is free, due to generous donors who support the mission of CACE.
