Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) is thrilled to announce a free Asian Heritage Cultural Dragon Dancers event on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. This spellbinding event, held in Glenn Miller Park Dahms-Talton Band Shell at 414 Main Street, Fort Morgan, will showcase the vibrant traditions and rich cultural heritage of Asia.
The Dragon Dancers, recognized for their captivating displays of artistry and grace, will take center stage to delight and enchant the audience with their awe-inspiring performance. This ancient art form, deeply rooted in Asian culture, embodies the spirit of prosperity, power, and good fortune.
Attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to witness the Dragon Dancers’ extraordinary skill as they maneuver through intricate choreography, accompanied by traditional music. The mesmerizing display of their vibrant costumes, synchronized movements, and dynamic acrobatics will transport spectators into a world of wonder and celebration.

The Colorado Asian Cultural Heritage Center (CACHC) was founded by Sifu Phong Vo to provide youth in the Denver area an opportunity to broaden their cultural horizons. CACHC promotes the sport and art of dragon and lion dance, along with health, wellness, and Asian culture. Phong Vo works to establish a familial setting at CACHC, where members thrive physically and philosophically.
