The Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) is pleased to announce an upcoming artistic printmaking exhibit showcasing the extraordinary talent of renowned artist Sarah Konrad. The exhibit will run from August 17 – September 21, 2023, at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art, 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan.
Sarah Konrad is a Laramie Wyoming-based Olympian, geologist, and artist whose unique talent lies in her mastery of creating prints from carved hard surfaces. Using intricate techniques, she meticulously carves captivating designs onto various surfaces, inks them, and then prints the resulting images onto paper, producing stunning and visually compelling artwork. Sarah’s detailed designs capture her deep connection to nature.
The public is invited to visit the CACE Gallery of Fine Art to experience the mesmerizing beauty of Sarah Konrad’s prints. The gallery will be open most weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., providing opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of printmaking and appreciate the details of each piece. Admission is free.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibit, a special artist reception will take place at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art on August 17, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This reception offers a unique opportunity to meet Sarah Konrad in person and gain insight into the inspiration behind her captivating creations.
