The Morgan Community College Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces the much-anticipated “Best of the Best” Student Art Show, featuring an impressive collection of 2D and 3D artwork created by local and regional middle school, high school, and post-secondary students. The exhibit, on display February 29 to March 21, 2024, at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art located at 300 Main Street in Fort Morgan, will showcase the exceptional talents of emerging artists in the community.
Artwork selected for the display was carefully chosen by dedicated art teachers who identified exemplary techniques and creativity in the pieces submitted by students. The goal of the exhibit is to highlight the outstanding achievements of budding artists and provide a platform for them to share their unique perspectives through various mediums.
Local artists will evaluate the artwork and select winners of the best pieces from each academic level. In addition, visitors to the exhibit will have the opportunity to cast their votes for a “People’s Choice” award.
A reception and awards ceremony will be held March 21, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art. The winners from each academic level and the “People’s Choice” award recipient will be announced and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and celebrate their accomplishments.
“The “Best of the Best” Student Art Show is a testament to the incredible artistic talent of our local students,” stated MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating these young artists and their contributions to our community.”
MCC CACE invites the public to attend this free exhibit, celebrate local student artists, and vote for The People’s Choice Award.
