MCC CACE announces the Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art Exhibit, a vibrant showcase of the creative works by young children in both 2D and 3D formats. The exhibit will be on display from April 4 to April 25, 2024, at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan.
This unique and family-friendly exhibit not only highlights the imaginative and artistic talents of the youngest community members, but also serves as a platform to foster creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for the arts. Visitors of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in the delightful world of youthful artistry, with pieces ranging from paintings and drawings to sculpture and mixed media creations. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
An artists’ reception will be held April 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event provides an excellent opportunity to meet the young artists and engage in conversations about their inspirations.
“The annual Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art Exhibit brings out the child in all of us who take time to visit,” stated MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “Children have a natural creativity that enhances their play and their work. Come out to this exhibit and enjoy the artwork from the children and the displays created by many of the area’s Early Childhood professionals.”
MCC CACE offers many free enrichment opportunities throughout the year. To learn more about the Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art exhibit, CACE, or future events, contact Suzanna Spears, CACE Coordinator, at 970-542-3180 or visit www.morgancc.edu/CACE.
