MCC CACE Presents Abstract Photography Art Exhibit Featuring Artist, Steve Caufield

The unique abstract photography art exhibit of Steve Caufield, photos shot through glass and blended with light, is an extraordinary experience.

Morgan Community College’s (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces an upcoming abstract photography art exhibit, showcasing the talents of artist Steve Caufield. The unique exhibit is scheduled to run from October 3 through November 14, 2024, at the MCC CACE Gallery of Fine Art, located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan.

“I love creating abstract art using a camera,” stated Steve Caufield, artist. “I shoot through glass and use movement to blend the light together, creating a larger palette of color.” More of Caufield’s work can be viewed on his Instagram account, username chummber8it.

“Often, we hear people say that they are looking at life through rose-colored glasses,” stated MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “This statement suggests that the world is being viewed in a more positive manner.  I encourage you to come out and view the amazing photography of Mr. Caufield and experience common views through his extraordinary lenses.”

The public is invited to experience Steve Caufield’s artwork at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art. The gallery will be open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free admission. An Artist’s Reception is scheduled for October 3, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the gallery.

MCC CACE provides many free enrichment opportunities throughout the year. For more information on CACE events, please contact CACE Coordinator Suzanna Spears at (970) 542-3180 or [email protected]. Visit www.morgancc.edu/CACE for additional information about CACE.
