MCC CACE Presents Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art Exhibit

From imaginative and playful paintings to expressive drawings, the show offers a joyful glimpse into the artistic minds of children.

The MCC Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) is proud to present the Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art Exhibit, a colorful celebration of creativity featuring artwork by young children. The exhibit will be on display through April 17, 2025, at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art, located at 300 Main Street in Fort Morgan.

This family-friendly exhibit shines a spotlight on the imaginative talents of the youngest members of our community. From imaginative and playful paintings to expressive drawings, the show offers a joyful glimpse into the artistic minds of children. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate creativity, encourage self-expression, and inspire an appreciation for the arts in all ages.

Admission is free and open to the public.

A special artists’ reception will take place on April 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Guests are invited to meet the young artists, learn more about their creative process, and enjoy an evening of connection and inspiration.

“The annual Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art Exhibit brings out the child in all of us who take time to visit,” stated MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “Children have a natural creativity that enhances their play and their work. Come out to this exhibit and enjoy the artwork from the children and the displays created by many of the area’s Early Childhood professionals.”

MCC CACE offers many free enrichment opportunities throughout the year. To learn more about the Month of the Young Child Mixed Media Art exhibit, CACE, or future events, contact Suzanna Spears, CACE Coordinator, at 970-542-3180 or visit www.morgancc.edu/CACE.
