Morgan Community College (MCC) is pleased to announce its upcoming Industrial Controls and Telematics (ICT) Workshop, scheduled for July 18 from 10 AM – 1 PM on the Fort Morgan Campus located at 920 Barlow Road. The hands-on workshop aims to provide participants with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving fields of mechatronics. Campus tours will be available to community members at the beginning of each hour.
The workshop will serve as a platform for industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts to explore the latest advancements in mechatronics, including robotics. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Electromechanical Technology faculty, George O’Clair, to learn about cutting-edge technologies and discover the potential career opportunities available in these exciting fields.
The workshop will feature a series of informative presentations, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Participants will gain practical knowledge about mechatronic systems and the integration of telematics in various industries, such as transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Workshop content will include an introduction to mechatronics and telematics, applications in modern industries, and emerging trends and technologies in the field. Key topics will continuously be reviewed throughout the three-hour workshop, allowing participants to drop-in as they are able to attend.
Workshop participants do not need to have prior experience or knowledge to take part in the event, as it is designed to expose them to emerging technology. No registration is required.
MCC is proud to host this event that will provide valuable knowledge and foster meaningful connections to prepare students for successful careers in the ever-evolving industrial and technological landscape.
